All plug-ins have been fixed or tested to work in FileMaker 18 Preview Release. Developer Assistant needed updates to work with new FM 18 script steps and to fix a crash on showing the DA toolbox in macOS 10.14 Mojave running FM 18. All Windows plug-ins are now code-signed to eliminate the FM 18 warning they were from an unknown developer. Learn more... |

May 30, 2017 | DA for FM 16 is Out of Beta
Developer Assistant v3.2 stable release is now available with FileMaker 16 support. Compared to v3.2 Beta, this fixes a couple bugs in Windows FM 16 and some rare script step mistranslations on Win and Mac. All other plug-ins were updated for FM 16 on March 22nd. Additionally, SQL Runner got named result sets and Script Scheduler got updated for easier use in non-American locales. Learn more... |
Mar 22, 2017 | Plug-in Updates Released for FileMaker 16
Windows FileMaker 16 has removed the main window that used to contain all database layouts. This takes up less room on your screen and improves script editing, but it required fixes to many of our plug-ins that used the main window as a starting point for things like positioning menus and dialogs.
All 2empowerFM plug-ins have been updated for FileMaker 16 compatibility and all but Developer Assistant are free updates. DA required a lot of internal changes to interact correctly with FileMaker 16 so a discounted license upgrade will be required for licenses purchased before Feb 9th, 2016. Script Scheduler has been updated to take a Timestamp parameter that makes scheduling scripts easier in non-US regions. SQL Runner now supports named result sets so you can iterate multiple results at the same time in nested loops. Learn more... |

Developer Assistant v3.1 final release is out with fixes that include working around a random failure of the 'Evaluate' button caused by a bug in OS X FM 14 and later. All plug-ins have passed compatibility testing with OS X 10.12 Sierra. Hands-Free Printer needed updates to fix bugs with Sierra while all other plug-ins needed no changes. All OS X plug-ins include a fix for lost keystrokes when FileMaker 14 or later is overly busy in the background. Developer Assistant v3.1 RC2 fixes a number of issues reported with RC1. Issues include rare problems as well as more common issues specific to FileMaker 11 and Windows versions. A new HFP version attempts to fix rare and unreproducible reports of standard controls not being found in the OS X Print dialog. epVersion() now supports a "format=Path" argument to get the path to each plug-in.
